-In need of coal? Well burn wood in a furnace to get some.
-Want some armor 24/7? Well make a farm and kill all the cows for leather. Use a fence and lots of torches so they spawn and won't escape.
-On the difficult easy or higher? Need food badly? Get some seed and grow a wheat field to make bread.
-Are you in the Nether and Ghasts are blowing up your house? Well make your house out of cobblestone and they can't blow it up anymore.
-Need iron? Dig a 10x10 hole all the way down to bedrock and you should get a very great amount of iron to stock up.
-Spawn in a place with only a few trees? Need more wood? Chop down all of those trees and collect the saplings and then plant them a repeat the process.
-Can't figure out how to kill a Ghast? When they shoot their fireballs at you, you can hit them back at them.
-Can't find enough clay to build a brick house? Look around shores with lots of sand, that's where they mostly appear.
-Need more Redstone? Redstone appears by lava most of the time or in caves deep in the earth.
